Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the founder and CEO of a holding company of different brands related to e-commerce. The project that Dreambit worked on launched September 2020, and we currently employ 12 part and full time people.
For what projects/services did your company hire DreamBit?
We had big issues when launching due to some under-delivery from our previous consulting firm. In a short period of time we needed an agency to take ownership of our iOS and Android application, to deliver the needed specification in time. This involved the whole process from planning/scoping, development, deployment and marketing
What were your goals for this project?
We needed to deliver a product-ready app in time to serve our customer base. The main challenge was to deliver fully tested, multi-device compatible mobile apps that could scale fast. We had a clear scope and a firm deadline for Dreambit to work against. Since our back-end (API) team is located in Malmo, Sweden, we also had expectations of clear and continous communication with them.
How did you select DreamBit?
We posted a brief on Upwork and did follow-up interviews with several agencies and freelancers. After the first round of interviews, we decided to begin with a paid trial to test the co-operation and see what results we could expect.
Describe the project in detail.
Once the paid trial was started me and Dreambit's CEO sat down and defined the tasks in detail, with the help of one of their colleagues. The trial lasted for a week and was delivered over our expectations, which led to us starting the full project and inviting the Dreambit team to our shared Slack workspace.
What was the team composition?
We had a main project manager in form of Eldar, which managed another three resources: 2 Flutter developers and 1 Quality Assurance and Testing. We mainly spoke to our Project manager, but regarding details we sometimes reached out directly to each part.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We've had a really successful launch, with over 1.6k downloads and 4,5 as an average rating. But the key metric I value the most is 0 % crashes and no major bugs reported from our users. This is something I do not take for granted and reliefs us from losing sales and spending time on hotfixes.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The whole team is very professional and communicates in a clear way. They clear take responsibility of their tasks, and always try to improve if they see something that can be improved. But what stands out the most was our Project manager, showing excellent ability to translate business needs to technical solutions, and always deliver on promised milestones and deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
It's a hard working team that cares about the work they deliver. They're always available for communication and you can really tell they take responsibility for their work and suggest improvements. I also appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit of the management — They made the collaboration more fun and dynamic. Compared to working for a larger company with 9-5 consultants.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I'm not sure I can suggest any general/structural improvements. The only thing needed improvement was details you could expect within a new project with short deadline — but we have settled those things along the way.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Head of Product at a company that is in the autonomous space. We are located in Israel and have about 20 employees.
For what projects/services did your company hire DreamBit?
Our company has all the knowledge to manage an autonomous store including integration with third party sensors. We also have the backend to manage the stores and the ERP software around it. We do not have in-house engineers to develop a mobile app so we needed to outsource this development.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed a mobile app that meets our specific needs for customers shopping in an autonomous store. This app needs to integrate with out backend and to work with AWS Cognito and Google Firebase as well. We were looking for someone to take ownership of the whole app development including design.
How did you select DreamBit?
We couldn't find a suitable contractor for a reasonable price in Israel so we started looking worldwide. We interviewed around 10 contractors and looked at previous development that they did. We selected DreamBit as they have the needed experience in Flutter and seems the most professional.
Describe the project in detail.
At first we had a few meetings to discuss the project, what we expect and to present our vision. We then moved to 2 weeks of design (using Figma) of all the pages and the flow. Once approved, they prepared a gant of the project and started development.
We created a test environment for them (backend running on AWS) and sent all the required documentation and APIs. We had a weekly meeting to present the progress and were in constant contact for questions and issues. 3 weeks after project start, we started getting weekly drops to test and comment.
What was the team composition?
We worked closely with:
- The Senior developer (which we initially interviewed)
- The flutter developer
- The designer
- The project manager
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are very pleased with the mobile app as it is exactly what we needed and completes our offering. We now can offer our customers an end-to-end solution that includes the store with all the hardware and sensors, the engine that handles all the events, the ERP components for management and insights and the mobile app.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We communicated mainly over Telegram and they were very responsive. Our weekly meeting was help with google meet. I was very impressed with how professional they are and that they managed to finish the app in 2.5 months as planned.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They were extremely professional and in area where they had no past experience (like AWS Cognito), they learned it very fast and did a great job. They advised us on how the app should behave, how is best to build and distribute it (as our app is white label), etc.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We are very satisfied with their work and its quality and got a beautiful product.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the CTO of Value-Ad, a SaaS company that helps Banks and Insurance Companies with artificial intelligence and automation to allocate the right lead to the right salesperson and manage their sales process.
For what projects/services did your company hire DreamBit?
Our legacy mobile app was outdated both in design and tech. Our previous team didn't have enough skillsset to take the challenge in creating a new application so we needed a new partner.
What were your goals for this project?
Create a new version of our mobile application that would contain similar features of the original app and incorporate a few other complex new features. It should be easier to maintain, modular, responsive, modern and future proof.
How did you select DreamBit?
We interviewed many different teams and then we eventually choose DreamBit. We gave them a Proof of Concept to be developed in 14 days which they delivered in half the time and without any issue. We were amazed with their skillset, commitment and responsiveness throughout the PoC and we had no doubt that they would be a great partner to help us developing our main application and continue supporting us in the future.
Describe the project in detail.
Once we selected DreamBit, we engaged a designer to work on the prototype of our new mobile app. DreamBit beautifully supported the design team on this phase providing important insights about potential features that made the design phase runs very smooth from beginning to end. Once the design phase ended and before we kicked off the project we had a bunch of meetings where we discussed all the product details, risks, and options to implement the application.
Based on that, DreamBit helped us to prepare the roadmap which was our entry point to start the active development. The stack of technologies is pretty advanced and we are really proud the choices DreamBit helped us to deliver. We used flutter, kotlin, swift, firebase, crowdin, Twilio, among other integrations.
What was the team composition?
DreamBit brought their all expertise in. We were assigned a Project Manager, a QA and Flutter/Node Developers (FrontEnd and Backend). While the team was under the project manager coordination, we also had complete visibility and freedom to chat and discuss potential solutions with them.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Thanks to the proper setup of the continuous integration tool and automation, we significantly improved the delivery process for all the required channels of distribution (alpha/beta/production). After the app launch, the product team do 70% fewer mistakes and 100% fewer critical technical errors during the setup of the environment for our customers.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Their team just blended very well to how we coordinate our project in house which made the all process very smooth for us.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Dreambit team is not just a bunch of developers who just write the code. They care about the product and are always involved in the product decisions, suggest different options to resolve the tasks with all the cons and pros. If they see the gaps in the requirements or know how to do that better way they always raised that and put it on the board
Are there any areas for improvement?
There are no critical points that we could mention here.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the founder of a company making a product that helps people get feedback on which photos they should post to social media, so they're able to put their best foot forward.
For what projects/services did your company hire DreamBit?
We hired Dreambit to develop our iOS app for our product. We were early on in validating the concept, so we were looking for an MVP.
What were your goals for this project?
Because we were still early on in validating the concept, we wanted to keep the budget low and not build unnecessary features before we were confident in the core value proposition. Staying agile - iterating and releasing quickly were also goals.
How did you select this vendor?
I knew right away after interviewing several candidates that this was the right team for me because they immediately gave me a ton of great feedback on ways that we could potentially reduce costs by moving functionality out of the MVP.
Most development shops will not have that sort of critical eye. Because of that, we were able to produce a first functional release for less than half of what some other firms were quoting.
Describe the project in detail.
I came to the project with designs in hand, but Dreambit was responsible for everything from that point on. Part of the project also involved a novel API that the team hadn't worked with before, but they were really quick to get into the docs and picked it up with no problem. I had never developed for iOS before, so they helped guide me through the process of getting through Apple and the App Store.
What was the team composition?
I mainly worked with Eldar, their team lead, but he leveraged two other people on our project, one of which was a backend specialist. I spoke with all three of them together when we were troubleshooting one particular issue and they were all great. The team was consistent throughout the project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I was extremely pleased with the end product we delivered. The end-user experience has received great feedback, and the overall implementation just subjectively looks really professional and well-done.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Throughout the process, the communication was great. Very collaborative, extremely attentive, and available. Eldar was extremely available for me on my US workday, and his communication or English proficiency was great. Anytime we found something that needed addressing, it was done in a timely fashion for sure.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I think the biggest thing that impressed me about Eldar and his team is that they were smart enough to help me challenge assumptions and build smarter.
Look, it's not difficult to find a technically proficient team who can check the boxes to build something technically correct, but are they smart enough to understand the "why" and build things that actually accomplish your goals? Can they keep you from doing something stupid and costly? The Dreambit team was great at that, which is why the project was a success.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I've got nothing, I was really happy. The product was great, completed on time and under budget with no added stress on my end.

What were your goals for this project?
Our goals were to: - Develop 4 new features - Develop the app in iOS and Android - Ship a first version of the app early Q1 2020
How did you select this vendor?
My team looked for engineering agencies in the US as well as in Europe. We've also tried using major development platforms such as Toptal. However, after a trial period with Dreambit, we were very impressed with the quality of their work as well as how they ramped up very fast.
Describe the project in detail.
Once we've selected Dreambit, we had one week for them to ramp up, and as a startup, we expected them to be on top of the projects as we are iterating a lot. We had weekly sprints and were in constant communication to deliver on time. Moreover, Dreambit handled the technical program management aspect by structuring our DevOps and monitoring the advancement of the development while documenting everything in detail.
What was the team composition?
The was composed of: - 1 TL - 1 Back-end Dev. - 2 Mobile developer from Dreambit
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Within those 6 months, the app was ready and helped us raised money from our VC in Silicon Valley in California.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The team was very flexible and easy to communicate with. They understood clearly the objectives and made sure we reached our goal. Moreover, they became part of the team and followed our team culture which was crucial to us.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was blown away by how Dreambit's team went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. They did not follow an input/output approach but was making research on the market to come with new ideas as well as ways to optimize their strategy. They have 10X engineers who can deal with significant complexities while requiring little management.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I do not think of any specific areas for improvement.
