GOIO Data
GOIO Data — first in the market web platform for digitizing and data harmonization across all custodian banks.
Project overview
GOIO Data helps depository banks keep their customer data digitized and provides updated interbank information on security portfolios. Our client, a fintech company Fincite, was looking for the right partner to trust them in hiring software development professionals.
The new members of GOIO’s augmented team were required to build additional data harmonization and aggregation features, including the processing of different types of data — from paper media to .pdf, .csv, and etc.
Team requirements
Within 8 weeks, we had to hire two Python developers, one JavaScript developer, one Automated Quality Control specialist, and Scrum master.
Our main requirement was developers must have some previous experience with banking projects. It was also crucial that our candidates were proficient with Scrum.
Challenge
As far as recruiting most of the team was relatively easy, the main challenge we faced was finding a Python AQA developer within a very short time frame.
This position is considered to be rather rare on the market. What made things slightly even more challenging that a candidate also had to fit additional criteria: previous experience with the banking industry.
Solution
Since finding the right Python AQA specialist that would match all the listed requirements seemed somewhat risky, we came up with an alternative solution.
Rather than recruiting a Python AQA specialist, we suggested our client hire an experienced AQA specialist (without deep expertise in Python) and another Python developer that would act like a mentor. Since our client was eager to start the project as soon as possible, he was totally happy with the solution that we proposed.

Professional Sporting Event Broadcast Provider
Professional Sporting Event Broadcast Provider (PSEBP) is an online store for selling licenses and leasing out broadcast equipment for various sport events.
Overview
Our client had an idea to create a web application that would be able to sell licenses and distribute them to the different members of the purchasing sports organizations, and also to lease out the broadcast equipment. In order to fulfill this idea, they started searching for a company that could guarantee the delivery of a finished product timely. And Limestone Digital was ready to take all the responsibility and deliver a final product.
Challenge
While working on the project, we had to put down all the puzzles. Despite a large number of small details and functions that had to be incorporated in the application, our client also needed it to be fast and responsive for better user experience. And the purchasing process required to be a quick and easy one so that the customers would keep returning.
Solution
After evaluating all the client's needs, we assembled the software development team to maintain the project. The team accurately analyzed business requirements and concerns and built precisely the system that was needed, starting from the prototype to the ready-made bespoke web application. Our team created the PSEBP app that was perfectly fashioned for a prompt selling of licenses and lease of equipment to the broadcasting organizations.
Results
Our client now has a web application that provides assistance to every potential buyer on finding the necessary license and equipment needed for a sportscast in a simple, straightforward manner. Every step is clear and concise, making it a breeze for PSEBP employees to maintain the system and, most of all, making for excellent customer experience.

Coliminder
ColiMinder is an IoT solution for water quality monitoring and reflecting probing results in real-time.
Overview
Vienna Water Monitoring needed radical improvements to their microbiological water quality monitoring system called ColiMinder. Because of the system’s complexity, most of the devices had been previously maintained by the client’s support team. The amount of collected data was so great that our client had to keep an entire R&D team to be able to manually process those data. And because of that, the bandwidth was somewhat limited and Coliminder couldn't obtain real-time results of data probing.
We were hired to create a web application that would turn ColiMinder’s hardware into a market-ready product and help the support team to maintain the system.
Challenge
When we were starting the project, our development team faced several issues:
- big batches of raw data – the system collects data on more than 40 water-specific parameters and each has its own variations. Altogether, it creates a vast data layer that updates every 10 seconds;
- complex telemetry system – ColiMinder also has a telemetry system, the information from which has been provided by the middleware in a form of machine codes that only the client's R&D team could understand.
Solution
Considering the importance of the collected data and the lack of tech capabilities of the existing ColiMinder system, our team defined weak spots and developed the range of significant improvements for smooth platform operation.
Results
Our development team successfully delivered the ColiMinder web platform, and it was gradually integrated into the existing network.
As a result, the massive part of all the processes was automated, and the amount of manual work was so significantly decreased that it made our client consider launching this IoT solution to the market which they successfully did.

Rival Games
Rival Games is a web and mobile application for the e-game industry that allows players to form leagues and compete as different unities (e.g., university teams and etc.)
Overview
Limestone Digital was hired to design a platform that gives an opportunity to the Xbox and PlayStation players all over the globe to get connected in one place to settle mass tournaments in favorite games. So that they could assemble teams and organize their own championships.
Challenge
The challenge here was to develop such a top-notch application so that it could attract not only individual players but large athletic organizations and sports leagues. Our client’s vision was that Rival Games would become a platform for conducting championships and a place for an interplay of teams and their fans.
Solution
We assembled a team of specialists that turned the client’s idea into a clear concept. From there, they made a prototype and developed a final web application. This app serves as a venue for players and teams that can conduct group tournaments or compete in 1-v-1 games, improve skills, and earn coins that they can change for gifts.
Results
As a result of intensive 8-month development, our client received the full-scale custom-coded application for web and mobile, attractive for large athletic organizations and sports leagues, that is ready for the official release.

Ingenetix
Ingenetix is a web-based application for internal logistics management and raw materials & product quality control in the BioMed industry.
Overview
Our client, Ingenetix, is a team of molecular biology specialists. They produce real-time PCR-based tests and conduct laboratory experiments to design serums and vaccines. They faced the necessity to improve lab procedures, reduce the impact of a human factor, and shorten the manual workflow. Ingenetix required a system that could manage internal logistics and ensure compliance with the industry standards of quality. This is where the Limestone Digital team came up with the idea of an integrated logistics & quality management system.
Challenge
When started working on the project, the Limestone Digital team had to deal with several challenging aspects. First of all, the complexity of the all-inclusive logic to provide the accuracy of all formulas, measurements, and calculations. Our client develops vaccines and medicines, so there is no margin for an error. In the second place, the solution had to be very simple and intuitive so Ingenetix employees can use it effectively with minimum training required.
Solution
After the business and requirements analysis, the assembled team crafted the product concept, worked out the UI/UX of the app, developed design, and coded the top-notch software application, which meets all of the requirements. The most crucial is that our web solution fulfills its primary goals – to automate processes, reduce time consumption, and improve quality control management.
Results
As a result, Ingenetix got a simple and convenient custom-developed desktop application that helps to reduce time consumption for routine operations and exclude the possibility of mistakes due to the human factor.

Winnerosity
Winnerosity is a web charity platform where everyone can make a small target donation and get a chance to win a cheering prize.
Overview
The client came to Limestone Digital with an idea of creating a charity platform. The main essence was to encourage young people to become more socially responsible and give them a little nudge to support those in need – homeless people and animals, exotic creatures in zoos, victims of disasters and epidemics, etc. For a small donation, participants can get a chance to win some prizes, e.g., movie tickets, dinner in a restaurant, game console, or a roller coaster ride. So, we assembled the team of developers to convert the idea into a custom-coded solution.
Challenge
During the development process, the biggest challenge we faced was shifting project requirements. The product vision kept changing so our team had to manage adjustments that also required extra development time and efforts. Despite this, we managed to deliver the project according to the deadlines while having the product quality as the highest priority.
Solution
When all of the requirements were finally defined, the Limestone Digital team started to design, code, and deploy the Winnerosity web application. The app was being developed for two types of participants: affiliates (companies that collect money and provide prizes), and contributors (individuals who make donations). It was decided to incorporate two main aspects to the platform – the ability to raise money for different purposes and to encourage clients to donate by drawing prizes.
Results
Despite the assembled team is still working on this project, our client already has a straightforward and powerful tool that performs its functions. And the first couple of thousands of dollars for charity have already been raised via the platform.

A2B Direct
A2B Direct is a logistic B2B marketplace that connects cargo owners (customers) and freight forwarders (carriers). It’s often labeled as “Uber” for cargo transportations on the web.
Overview
Initially, A2B Direct had a basic functionality that included only a possibility to book forwarders and give them ratings. However, after some testing, it appears that more sophisticated features are required for the platform to work effectively. Limestone Digital was responsible for delivering some ports of the extensive functionality of this platform.
Challenge
A challenge here was to create a system that would be able to communicate effectively with multiple third-party service providers. Considering the amount of data needed to processed, it was particularly important to create a system that would be extremely resilient.
Solution
To tackle the challenges, the decision was made to focus on three main areas. First of all, the system needed a great variety of algorithms on the backend to create different scenarios and features. Secondly, it’s needed to create different user roles (customer, carrier, and admin) so that different users can have access to different platform features. And finally, for those features to function, the system needed a durable architecture.

Powered by Toco
Powered by Toco is an affiliate platform where Toco Warranty's partners can register as affiliates and sell their warranties for auto repair coverage.
Overview
The concept of a referral program first came to be when Toco Warranty, a provider of vehicle service contracts for auto repair coverage, realized how beneficial that could be for their business. Limestone Digital team quickly accessed the idea and suggested creating an affiliate platform where the users (affiliates) can take ownership over and be proactive about the selling of warranties.
Challenge
When faced with the business growth concerns of Toco Warranty, Limestone Digital quickly realized that a system they were about to build had also to be very secure. The very fact that people shared through the platform sensitive information to create their accounts implied a greater level of privacy and security that needed to be provided.
Solution
The team at Limestone Digital built a software application that is able to accomplish all the required objectives. Although the project is still ongoing, Toco Warranty has already had a chance to highly appreciate all the benefits that Powered by Toco has provided to their business.

mBanc
mBanc is a non-qualified loan provider that can help provide a loan, basing on alternatives methods, in case someone doesn't qualify for a traditional one.
Overview
To get a loan from mBanc, an application must be filled out online. Millions of applications need to be processed each month. Because of this, mBanc needed a system that would be able to automate the application process.
Challenge
The team first worked to rebuild the landing pages. Then they moved on to the biggest concern: decrease the amount of manual work and increase the mBanc’s capacity to process online applications.
Solution
Limestone Digital automated the process by designing a questionnaire an applicant must fill out to see the kind of loans they qualify for. Once done the applicant is provided with loan rates calculated by using the information they gave.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and CTO of a wholesale B2B marketplace for consumer electronics.
What challenge were you trying to address with Limestone Digital?
We hired them to build our web app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The team identified our product requirements first. Once they were finished with that, they asked specific questions and identified milestones that needed to be completed.
Thereafter, they integrated all the tasks into a project management system, showing us what the development cycle would look like. In addition, they conduct weekly sprints to finish our workable web product.
What is the team composition?
We work with a team of four but closely interact with the project manager. She communicates directly with the frontend developers on their day-to-day duties. We also have a QA resource.
How did you come to work with Limestone Digital?
I started working with them 4–5 years ago and I knew that I could trust them. They were incredibly helpful. It's not often that a company finds a technology partner and team that they want to continue to work with. It's also the reason why I highly recommend them whenever I have projects with startups and other companies. Above all, they've always had the capability to bring projects to life.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started in March 2020, and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve been extremely happy with our product and the team. We’ve had developers come and go, but the company has been very good at finding new ones quickly.
As a result, we easily get our resources back to make sure that we’re on pace to continue building at the rate we’d like. Overall, I’ve been extremely satisfied with Limestone Digital's services.
How did Limestone Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
The team's project management has been incredibly thorough. Sometimes I feel like their project manager cares way more about the project than even I do. We call twice a week to make sure we're on the same page. It's also their opportunity to ask detailed questions to us.
Additionally, Limestone Digital's developers have been great and quick. Although there have been times when they were bad at deadlines, their project manager has always stepped in and kept them focused and on track.
They've also been helping us maintain our budget while we're pushing forward at max speed. In that respect, we appreciate that they've been implementing while still remaining price-conscious.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their flexibility has been outstanding. Whenever we hit a challenge, they've been quick at resolving it. Furthermore, we’ve been able to scale our team as needed.
They have been really open and always come up with new ideas. They really put their customers first and help us think through a lot of our challenges.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think they have any areas they could improve. We encounter issues in the engagement, but every issue always gets resolved.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Take the time to make sure you know what you want to do and how you want to do it. Work with them on the best way to get your objectives done because a lot of times they’ll have better ideas and a better path forward than what you’re envisioning.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a buyers club — we bring together buyers of a specific product and help them get limited-edition goods.
What challenge were you trying to address with Limestone Digital?
We need a team to handle our web portal’s programming needs.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Limestone Digital provides coding services for us. Since I’m not well-versed on this project, I don’t know the specific details regarding the technologies used. We give them a briefing on what we want and they will run the project.
What is the team composition?
We directly work with 2–3 people from their team including — a project manager and developers. We’re consistently working with two people, but sometimes they’ll add a third.
How did you come to work with Limestone Digital?
A partner of the business was a friend of mine, he recommended them to us. Upon interviewing them along with a pool of candidates we selected them because of their competitive nature. They had a good cost and showed what they could do in the timeline, which was attractive, so we went with them.
How much have you invested with them?
Since the engagement began, we’ve spent around $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our team started working with them in September 2019 and our project is still ongoing. We initially looked for a partner to work with for a small project. However, we were really pleased with their outputs and decided to continue the engagement.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
So far, the engagement is going great and we are pleased with their efforts. Limestone Digital produces good outputs and their services are phenomenal.
How did Limestone Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
The team helps us keep track of our projects using ClickUp — we share our ideas there and they assess to give us a proper timeline. On top of that, we also communicate through texts, phone calls, and we have a WhatsApp group. Limestone Digital is able to meet the deadlines perfectly which makes the process smooth for both ends.
We were initially concerned about working with a vendor abroad, but, fortunately, that doesn’t hinder our project — we don’t face language barriers or time zone constraints.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The team’s communication skills and ability to deliver projects promptly are impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We can’t think of any criticisms for their team.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Do your due diligence and don’t just take my word for it, but we’re pretty pleased.

I’m the CTO of the Fox Business Funding Group. We provide business funding.
What challenge were you trying to address with Limestone Digital?
We were looking to build out a system to help us manage our incoming documents for potential businesses and clients that applied with us for funding.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The team built a frontend application using React that would integrate with an existing system using an API that was developed internally. We did another CMS project with them using Ruby.
What is the team composition?
We worked together with five people.
How did you come to work with Limestone Digital?
I had a relationship with somebody who worked there in the past. I opted to go with their company because of their skills as a technology solutions provider.
How much have you invested with them?
We paid about $40,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from September 2019–March 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Because of COVID-19, we had to make a lot of cuts, so that’s why our engagement ended with Limestone Digital.
The quality of work was excellent. Their team had a good understanding of what we were trying to do. As far as the frontend application is concerned, they had a great eye for detail. They were able to create and produce working versions of the prototypes on the first try.
How did Limestone Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
From a project management standpoint, they did a good job. We used Jira.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Limestone Digital helped us work through a lot of different challenges. It was nice to have someone to rely on that was able to provide the technology and get it done.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We had a few slight mishaps in the earlier stages. We weren’t sure how we were going to integrate with the existing system, but we did quickly figure it out and got it up and running.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Bring them on early in the project. They’re a great resource that understands systems. Allow them to be part of your planning process because they’re smart at what they do. They’ll help you get a good system.

Please describe your company and your position there.
We are a startup online marketplace based in London, UK. We connect users with visual artists through online studio experiences. I am the Chief Executive Officer.
For what projects/services did your company hire Limestone Digital?
We were addressing the need for a scalable, secure MVP where we could provide extensive value to our customers. We needed web-development services to implement our mockups and designs from Zeplin.
What were your goals for this project?
Our primary goals for the project included: responsive design, user and artist registration, keyword search, and displaying artists on a Google map. The programming languages specified were React and Python. This project was essential to provide us with the foundations for a scalable product.
How did you select this vendor?
Through a research process into 6 + development companies based in Prague, Digital Limestone came to my attention as being highly revered. When I subsequently met with Mark, the CEO, I was very impressed by his willingness to help our business interests, along with our technical needs.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
They planned and developed the MVP product through SOW, designs, and mockups that were provided from our side. Including a set of integrations with third-party services that were required. They were primarily responsible for backend web development and project management.
What was the team composition?
The project team consisted of a project manager, front-end developer, and back-end developer. However, the team changed over time adapting to the different skill sets required. This was especially the case when two in-house developers joined the project, as the dynamic shifted, so did the development company's, to fit our needs.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Currently, at this moment in time, we have not launched yet, even though our involvement with Digital Limestone has completed. They have played a crucial role in getting us into a position where all our business requirements are satisfied and we can provide scalable added value to our customers.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Project management was agile in the format that we required to adapt to any changing circumstances. They also had impressive responsiveness to any questions or issues. Communication tools included Slack, Google Hangouts, and Clickup.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was most impressed with how dedicated and hands-on the CEO, Mark was with our project, making every effort to reach out and make sure everything was ok and on-track. As opposed to a different CEO in the same position would likely not deal with smaller clients in the same manner.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There is little they could improve on, especially considering the impact of COVID-19, the timeline was fairly successful.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing director of MBANC, a player in the mortgage financing world.
What challenge were you trying to address with Limestone Digital?
We were trying to develop custom software that would allow us to replace a manual system of analyzing and calculating bank statements and identifying and parsing out information from customer documentation.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The system had to have a mechanism to identify and recognize deposits and all the line items in a bank statement. It also had to be able to determine whether something was a deposit or an expense. They built the product from scratch, so all the deliverables were staged according to each part of the project like backend development, frontend development, calculator development, and consumer portal development.
What is the team composition?
We had a team of 8–10 developers, plus their support staff and upper management.
How did you come to work with Limestone Digital?
I was referred to them by a friend who’d worked with Limestone in the past. We spoke to multiple people and received pitches from multiple parties. The real reason we chose Limestone is that Levy (Co-Founder & CTO) was local, transparent, and honest. He seemed very different to the other group that we were engaged with.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $500,000–$600,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since April 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
This was a very in-depth process because for any one client you had to analyze 12-24 months of personal bank statements. Manually, it took three hours. Now, even though we’re still in development, we’re getting results in less than two minutes. We were offered $1.5 million for the software by another company even though it was only in beta testing. We said no to the offer, too.
How did Limestone Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
They were always available to us, readily willing to help with anything and everything. Some of their team was local in our area so we had almost weekly meetings in the office to brainstorm and go through ideas and concepts.
They were always responsive and on top of things, and their deliverables never had bugs thanks to their QA testing. If anything did go down, it was immediately fixed. They’re honorable, good people. 95% of deliverables were hit on time, which is rare for software development, and if they weren’t they communicated upfront. They reached out when they needed things from us too, which helped hit deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were honorable, honest, and transparent and they knew what they were doing on both the software and business sides. Additionally, they became part of our executive team, especially Levy. He spent hours strategizing with us about potential challenges. They were able to make our software a reality because they understood our business. They’ve become part of our business, rather than just a software team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Honestly, no, they were great. I have a fantastic relationship with them. I love working with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Listen to what they have to say and make sure they understand your business and what you’re trying to accomplish. They have the ability to couple the business side with the software development side. Initially, I was resistant but it’s a very mutual involvement as they become part of your team.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of engineering at a startup. Our platform directly connects cargo owners with transportation companies and lets them make a deal without any intermediaries.
What challenge were you trying to address with Limestone Digital?
We started the step of scaling about two years ago. When we completed the round of attracting investors, we wanted to scale quickly. However, our ability to hire our own engineering personnel was limited by classical marketing constraints.
This meant that we couldn’t grow as quickly as we wanted to. We had a very high and specific demand for growing our platform much quicker than we could hire developers. So, we turned to Limestone Digital because they had experience in the logistics industry and working with transportation projects.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us to scale our team, working as an extension of our team. They work remotely but they serve as an integral part of our engineering department. We work in Java and our project is mostly microservices-based.
Limestone Digital supports certain microservices, and we focus on others. The team is doing on-request calculations working with different technologies.
For the frontend, they work with Angular. Limestone Digital also helped us to transfer to the latest version.
What is the team composition?
We work with front- and backend developers, as well as a business analyst and a delivery manager. Over the course of the project we’ve worked with between 12–15 teammates.
How did you come to work with Limestone Digital?
We researched different companies that had expertise in this domain. We then partnered with a number of companies in the initial stages, including Limestone Digital. They were able to prove their qualification in the sector by demonstrating a number of projects they worked on and describing their architecture.
By analyzing the solutions they developed, we were able to make a confident decision that they were a good fit. They provided case-based proof of their qualifications on the technical side. We stopped working with the other companies and replaced them with our in-house developers, but our relationship with Limestone Digital was strong.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve spent $400,00–$500,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them more than a year ago, in about December 2018. We are still working with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
There were a number of technical problems that we had to tackle, but Limestone Digital has a very strong ability to tackle problems from various angles, making them an invaluable partner.
When we had complex technical requests from our clients for which we couldn’t find a solution, Limestone Digital helped us figure out a creative approach to tackle this technical problem while helping us with the user-flow perspective.
How did Limestone Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
The team is very organized, always delivers on time, and reacts proactively to issues. Additionally, they are very accommodating whenever we need something extra that is in addition to our regular workload.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were able to not only bring technical expertise but also to suggest specific approaches on how to operate and scale the platform that we were trying to grow. Everything they do on the analytical, managerial, and technical sides, is in sync. They match our level of expertise.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I have no suggestions. I have an overall positive impression of them as a partner.

We had some projects that required a larger team than the number of resources we had available. We were working with a client that provides a variety of services for VPN solutions.

How did Limestone Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project manager helped us to manage all the KPIs and deliverables in Jira. The project manager is great. He manages the team well and makes sure all the deliverables are achieved. I don’t recall any conflicts with them or deadlines having to be moved. Their organization is high-level. We communicate via Slack.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I enjoyed their organizational skills. The project manager keeps everything organized. They know exactly how to manage development pipelines. They control the whole team, including our programmers’ overall deliverables. They know exactly how to build the process so the development is faster. The coding is great.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We want more people on the team. They agreed to expand the team soon.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure you describe the project well. They have business analysts that help to transform your idea into an executable plan. I recommend you take advantage of their knowledge.
