I am the CMO of Quorso, an enterprise level B2B software solution for major retail and hospitality businesses in the UK and US. Quorso is a start-up and, as such, we were looking for an equally agile and creative team to partner with on this project.

Quorso is an enterprise product with multiple users across the business (COO, CFO, Area Manager, Location Manager) and a range of diverse use cases (sales, costs, workforce management, KPIs etc). We needed an explainer video that clearly communicated the complex pains of the industries we serve and then presented Quorso as the easy, intuitive and impactful solution.

What were your goals for this project?

It needed to feel real and authentic and credible, while still being engaging and hold the attention of the viewer. The personas needed to be believable and a great deal needed to be communicated in a short space of time.

How did you select this vendor?

Yans Media came highly reviewed on Fiverr and we loved the videos in their portfolio. A lot of explainer videos feel very similar and use an illustration style that is childish/cartoony. What we loved about Yans Media was their very believable and warm characters, full of expression and personality.

The Yans Media team are professional, talented and incredibly patient. As a small startup we are in a constant state of evolution and our entire colour palette in fact changed during the course of the project!

Yans Media was incredibly accommodating and fully supported our desire, at every step of the way, to get the final video exactly right. Not only were the visuals fantastic, but they also worked hard to get the soundtrack exactly right as well.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Led by Aram Movsisyan, the project management process could honestly not have been more seamless. He was incredibly responsive, communicative and punctual on delivery deadlines. He managed our expectations at all times and made the entire experience enjoyable and smooth.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The video is now live on the homepage of our website, on our social pages and on our YouTube channel - and is driving excellent traction in all three channels. Viewing numbers are high and view time also averages 70%, which is far above average for a 2min video. The video is also being well received in sales meetings and event presentations.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Really incredibly easy, transparent and effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their creative talent sets them apart. It was a tough brief but they absolutely cracked it and were impressively good at taking our feedback on board at each stage, incorporating it effectively and pushing back with good rationale on occasion as well.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I honestly can't think of any. My only critique of the final video is that we (as in Quorso) made it a bit too long - which Aram warned us was the case from the very beginning... Next time we will listen ;)

Our company creates projects that consider the specific needs of both the global and individual regions. We create customized, intelligent mobile apps integrated with latest technologies like AI, machine learning, IoT, VOIP and augment and virtual reality for best user experience and engagement. Our latest successful project in Armenia is our platform that has registered masters of different professional skills who can solve any household problems. Our company isn't limited to the Armenian market and already has experience of launching similar platforms in other countries.

Our company created a mobile application. It is an online platform where people can find master for works that require specific skills and the masters can find jobs according to their skills. We have needed to make videos for Varpet app to show our users how the application works and how to use it.

What were your goals for this project?

We want to show our users how the app works, what services there are, how they can make orders or register as a master. This explainer video is very helpful for users. The video helps our user how they can find the service they need and make an order. It increases both the orders and the high-ratings of the app in Play Store and App Store. Also, the cancelation of the orders are getting decreased.

We searched online for designers in our area and found several companies on that filed. A friend of our company advised Yans Media who had hired the company before and was very pleased with their work. We took into account both the advice and the quality for their proposal and their attention to every detail.

As we are going to make an explainer video for the mobile application we had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. Within those days we received examples of video. After a few discussions with our marketing team we finalize the design and the content of the video. The video has got many views on our facebook page and on youtube which increase orders and the ratings of the app.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Actually, we were deal only with their CEO. But I think that there were at least a designers team and a content writer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our cooperation with Yans Media lasted 1.5 month. Since then has hardly passed a month but we already saw 10-15% increase in overall orders and Play Store and App Store downloads. In our social pages followers and video views are also increase compere with the last months reports.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The CEO of YansMedia we were assigned in was easy to communicate and provided us frequent updates. We connect over phone and e-mail several times a week. I am very impressed by their attention to every detail. They worked very quick and ended the project in time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They will learn your product, understand real problems, and try to solve them.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything can always be done faster but we were very satisfied with their work every step of the way in the end quality is more important than speed and we ended up with a beautiful product.

I work at an advertising marketplace. Our goal is to make the buying process easier and provide state of the art analytics around campaign performance. I work as the Product Manager for the engineering team.

In trying to grow our companies we identified that it took a lot of back-and-forth communication to explain to them exactly what pain points our platform solves. To combat this, we hired Yans Media to develop a cartoon explainer video to give customers a general understanding of our business.

What were your goals for this project?

To explain how our platform solves the major pain points in purchasing out of home advertising in a quick and fun to watch video.

How did you select this vendor?

We did a lot of research online and found a lot of options. In reaching out to Yans Media they were very responsive and providing a lot of great examples of past work. It was because of this that we decided to go with them as our vendor.

First, we started with describing them the main goals of the video. Then we moved on to developing the script. They gave a first pass and we went back and forth on revisions. After that, they gave us a bunch of voice over artist to pick from. We selected the VO and they got it produced. Finally we went back and forth on storyboarding and video aesthetic. From there they delivered the video to us.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Generally through emails, video calls, and in-platform commenting. We generally interacted with one person on the vendor team, unless they felt like including a specialist. They took our feedback very well and were able to incorporate it into the final product.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

While we have yet to make the video live, this video will live above the fold on our homepage. Based on the video, we are sure this will help drive growth.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I had a lot of direct communication (almost daily) with the project manager for the vendor. I received constant progress updates and was given many opportunities to review and ask questions on work as it was in progress.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The quality of their work. The video we got is truly world class and is something we will be trying to get in front of as many customers as we can.

Are there any areas for improvement?

While there are always areas for improvement, it's hard to pinpoint anything with the process. Possibly making sure the revisions process is more thoroughly explained. They were very kind and gave us extra revisions because we were confused on our end.

I was the senior producer and then creative director at Simplifilm, INC., a video production agency.

While at Simplifilm, we hired Yans to do animated video work for us on a number of projects. They created original artwork and full animation for us from motion graphics to 2D to 3D as well.

We worked with top enterprise-level clients, so the production quality had to be flawless.

They were very professional and had excellent communication with us from the beginning.

Sometimes we would just provide Yans with a script and they would do the rest of the work. Other times, we worked with them on shotlists and they would create a storyboard and then the visuals and of course, animations.

Aram and the rest of the crew at Yans were always quick to respond and it was always easy to get them on Skype for a quick meeting or full discussion.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

A couple of the videos we did together for DriveTime were used in a full digital campaign that resulted in over 25 million views total.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow we had was smooth. Although in a different time zone, we were always able to connect and stay in the loop, whether it was via email, Skype, or Basecamp.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Yans Media is exceptionally good at providing solutions from multiple angles. As in, if we had a project that we had all the ideas figured out, they were happy to simple fulfill the animation. But there were other projects that they were just as important for with creative ideas, marketing strength, etc.

No, they are one of the best vendors I've ever worked with.

Since the recent launch of the video, we have seen a significant increase in our website traffic and leads.

I’m the founder of Sonoiz, a social music marketplace for music producers and sound designers to distribute and sell loops and samples to musicians.

We wanted to gain more content for our site and we needed producers and designers using the site to do that.

After I had a set story in mind, I reached out to Yans Media. They enhanced the concept, starting work quickly. I received the storyboard with illustrations. After making adjustments to those, their team began animating and adding sound effects. The entire process took about six weeks.

I primarily contacted Aram (Managing Partner, Yans Media) through email and Skype. He was readily available and always kept me in the loop about the video process.

When we posted the ad on Facebook and Instagram, we saw an increase in the number of producers and sound designers signing up for the site.

Working with Yans Media was a fantastic experience. I can’t say anything negative. Aram was a great resource.

They share drafts as they progress, allowing us to share our feedback and know what we're going to receive in the end. Whenever we have projects with short deadlines, Yans will assign an additional resource to ensure they deliver on time.

Almost all of our work comes from repeat business. This is a testament to the success of our working relationship with Yans. It highlights why we value them above any other supplier. Our clients are always pleased with the projects Yans works on.

The workflow is seamless. Although we’re separated by borders and time zones, Yans is always happy to jump on a call for a quick progress update. We share screens via Skype to quickly review their work.

Yans brings a creative flair to everything they do, whether it's simple or complex. Their understanding of budgets and timelines and their friendly, positive attitude makes difficult projects a joy to work on. Invariably in our industry, clients make last-minute changes to their brief. Yans' never-ending patience and understanding nature mean we’re almost always able to accommodate them.
